Our students learn about how chemicals are released, transported, and transform in the environment and in biota. They explore the biological effects of toxicants and other chemicals of biological interest on humans and other species, and gain training on how industrial or commercial chemical products are regulated and monitored. Students from our program are prepared for careers in government and industry in diverse roles and are ready to pursue further training in graduate or professional school.
