The Department of Environmental Toxicology is celebrating the 50th Anniversary of our ETX major this February 29 from 5 - 7:30 p.m.
Over the past 50 years the Department has grown to be a world-class venue for research and education in Environmental Toxicology. Our numerous graduates have progressed into diverse and influential careers in academia, government, non-profits, and the private sector. As public awareness of the impacts of pollution on wildlife and humans has increased, so has the visibility and influence of our small but mighty program. Our research has illuminated how chemicals move into and through the environment, how they are transformed along the way, and how they impact health across the tree of life.
Come join us as we celebrate this legacy, honor the people past and present who have contributed, and share in our vision for the future as we train the next generations of environmental scientists and toxicologists and continue to seek solutions to some of our planet's most pressing challenges.
