Summary: We are seeking an entry to mid‐level professional interested in water quality and regulatory compliance applicable to a variety of settings including production agriculture, industrial and construction stormwater, irrigation water conveyance and water storage. The position uses knowledge, training, background and experience in water quality to identify solutions to a variety of problems in both urban and agricultural settings. The position regularly interacts with clients and regulatory agency staff, performs field work including the collection of samples, prepares scope, schedule and cost estimates and manages or assists with management of projects.

Background & Interest Sought: Interest in water quality, regulatory compliance, contaminated site assessment, stormwater, production agriculture and irrigation; attention to detail; strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to work outdoors. Strong Excel and writing skills a plus.

Education & Experience Required: BA/BS or MS in biology, environmental toxicology, environmental science, chemistry, civil or environmental engineering, hydrology or water resources. Between 0‐4 years of work experience required.

Minimum Credentials: Valid CDL
Desirable Credentials: SWRCB QSD, QSP and QISP; Engineer in Training (EIT); 24‐ or 40‐hour Hazwoper; DPR QAL/QAC and PCA; CDBW boater’s license; First Aid and CPR.

Compensation: Annual compensation range of between $55K‐$75K depending on experience. Benefits include flexible schedule, 401K match, health/dental/vision/life insurance, flexible spending account, vacation and holiday time and a generous educational allowance.
