The Environmental Toxicology offers a temporary Lecturer position in Forensic Science Toxicology, FOR 298
This Lab based class covers the analytical methods used in typical crime labs such as blood/breath alcohol analyses, drug screening and analysis, plant analysis, paint analysis, and fiber analysis using instruments such as the stereo microscope, GC, GC-MS, and the Micro FTIR.
APPOINTMENT DATE: Winter Quarter 2017, January 6 to March 24, 2017 (service periods)
Teach one graduate course in Forensic Science Toxicology, FOR 298
Appropriate professional degree, e.g., doctorate or m as t er ’s degree (or 30 units of graduate coursework); demonstrated teaching ability; a developing record of scholarly or professional achievement in an area of expertise related to the subject area of the course.
Temporary lecturers are selected to fill specialized positions that require professional as well as academic expertise.
SALARY: Commensurate with experience.
